A Michael Christopher Eiffe was born 1902 at 11 Sarah Place to Andrew Eiffe and Rosanne Anderson

That's them then. I was thinking of trying to find the Eiffes to see if they remember my relative who (according to Thom's Directory) was their neighbour in Islandbridge in the 70s. You've saved me some wasted time, thank you!

Re Athletes Rest. The Ryans owned it. If the person owning the pub in Dundrum could post some old pics that would be terrific.

When I was about 7, in 1957, they were quite elderly.

Whats the neighbours name.

Chrissie Gamble was my relative, and she shared a flat with Helen Supple. Both were young women in their twenties in 1972, who worked up the road at St Mary's Hospital. Chrissie unfortunately died in the flat accidentally, of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Sorry, - cant remember either of those names. There were almost all families living in the older Sarah Place, - which were tenements. Perhaps she was there in the seventies, when the new flats were built?

Thank you for asking, yes she was there in the seventies, I appreciate your taking the time to consider it.
