German Handwriting Translation

Would anyone be able to help translate these sentences on two Edwardian photos of possibly a German ancestor of my boyfriend? I can only make out possibly the name "Clara" (maybe) and the city they were taken in - Kiel.

Unfortunately it's been quite a few years since I studied German, and all my efforts to try to translate have failed! Any help is greatly appreciated.

My German is not quite so rusty - I give it a try;

First; "Meinem lieben Emil gewidmet von seiner Else, Weihnachten 1904(9?)"
 dedicated to my darling Emil, by his Else, Christmas 1904 (or 1909?)

Second: "Zur Erinnerung an Deine ?? Schwester(?) Clara. Kiel, August 1906"
In memory of your  [cannot decipher the two-letter and the following word, but that could be sister] Clara, Kiel August 1906

There's a great old German document transcription & translation group on the web, and it's free. All work is done by group members, and all you have to do is join & upload a scan of your document. I've had a large number of family documents done that had been in storage & undecipherable, and they revealed all sorts of family history. deine tr[eue] Schwester = your faithful sister

Also, Zur Erinnerung an here is more like "To remind you of", rather than "In memory of" which sounds like she had died.
