Samuel Brown born Romford look up please
« on: Thursday 12 May 11 15:15 BST (UK) »
Hi
I have a Samuel Brown born Romford about 1847. He is aged 3 years in 1851, son of Thomas and Sarah.
If anyone has access to the parish baptism records for this period, could they do me a quick look up please?
Helen

Is the place of birth definitely romford, or romford district?
Jamiesons, Martins and McGonigals of Coleraine, Londonderry

In all the censuses I've found him in his place of birth is Romford.
However, most times he lives in Horns Road, Barking.
In 1861 his parents are both born Romford as well as all his siblings, except the last two who are born Ilford in 1858 & 1860.

Horns road is Barkingside, which is just west of romford, so could well be. I will try to have a look ... Probably over the weekend :-)
