Aged 29 arrived London 21.6.1923 from River Plate South America - address 24 Havant St Glasgow

Hello,

I did check for marriages in England for Davina, Hugh, and Rachel but couldn't find any.

When I couldn't find them on the 1911 Census for either England or Scotland, I presumed they may have left for good (bar perhaps a visit home to the family).

Hi again, on the 31st March 1938 these passengers left for Beunos Aries on the Avelona Star.

Isabell Connon aged 60 occ Non Company Director bound for Beunos Aires
Charles E 8
George 43 occ Company Director
Petrina 42
Robert H 10
All others bound for Paraguay
Residing in the UK at West Boulevard Nottinghamshire.

Crickey! I promised you that I did check passenger lists.

They must have been doing very well for themselves in South America. This line has proven to be more interesting than I initially thought!

Charles E Connon was b in Notts - mothers maiden name Shaw - per freebmd but I can't find a Shaw/Connon marriage

I have found a marriage and birth in Argentina which is too coincidental for it not to be connected.  As it was 1952/53 - the persons may still be living so I am sending the info by pm

The index on the link below has a Robert (H) Connon leaving London for Argentina in 1929 and again in 1938
