Harriet & John Thomas, Llanelly 1911

Trying to establish date and place of deaths for Harriet (nee Butler) and John Thomas, also any info on their life in Wales. 
Harriet was born in Elford Staffs in 1852 and John was born in Stourport Worcestershire, 1851. They lived in England at various addresses up to the 1901 census (have records)  but on 1911 census they are living at Trefenty Terrrace Cross hands, Llanelly.  (private house 8 rooms) Son William (b1882 Redford Nottingham) also living there. John is Master plasterer by trade. I have no info on John's parentage.
(Harriet had an illegitimate daughter, Constance Jane Butler  (b1874)before marriage. She resided with grandparents in Elford)
Any info greatly appreciated.

If we can identify the correct death certificate, we will have the date of death and you can then look for an obituary in a local paper. Of course we don't know that she died in Llanelli district as sometimes people were taken to hospital in Swansea.

One possibility is the death of Harriet Thomas age 68 in 1919 (Apr-Jun quarter)
Llanelli volume 11a page 1089

If you contact Llanelli register office, they will be able to confirm whether this is the right person.

Thanks for that,however my brother in Law in UK has already checked that date of death out and unfortunately it was not the correct Harriet. Will forward your message to him though as he maybe able to check with Swansea.

Has he checked any other records? These are possibilities too:

Harriet Thomas age 68 in 1920 (Dec Q)
Llandilofawr 11a 1239

Harriet Thomas age 83 in 1935 (Dec Q)
Swansea 11a 1002

Thanks again for your help. I will pass this info on to my Brother in Law in UK. He actually went down to LLanelli to see where Harriet lived. He's in Lincolnshire. Maybe another trip to Wales is in order.

I suggest that he contacts the local register offices by telephone or email/letter with the name, address, and year/quarter of deaths. At least then he knows whether this is the right person. Perhaps they moved away after 1911, e.g. to live near family.
