GERMANY: George Adolf Eichstedt

I am doing research on my family and I am stuck.  I do not speak or read German so I am unable, as far as I know, to research any further.  George Adolf Eichstedt was born in Germany on 7/13/1851 and came to America in 1873, he married Adelina Garbe on 3/17/1876 and he died in a hunting accident in Nebraska on 11/11/1920, upon his death certificate only the name of "Eichstedt" was given for his father's name.  Mother's name was listed as Helena Turneer, both being born in Germany.  My mother and I have been searching desperately for years to find some information to continue the search of our family but we continually come up with nothing.  On his death certificate,  his full name reads "Aug George Eichstedt", we believe that his full legal, German name may have been August George or Adolf Eichstedt.

Any information would be most appreciated, even if someone could point me in the direction of some one who might be able to help.
