Mark, as I think someone pointed out early there are no relationships or marital status given on 1841. Whilst it is easy to jump to the conclusion that a man and woman listed together are married, it is just as likely they are siblings (especially as Susan was, and remained, unmarried)

It would appear that robert ring married sarah read in 1843 and therefore it does suggest that at the time of the 1841census that he was living at perhals he.ping to support his sister, who would have been unmarried. Please confirm that this is your view. Very many thanks.  Mark
