Larkin family Wakefield

I am looking for descendants of John and Mary Larkin. They had two daughters, Mary born 1838 and Bridget born 1840. in Ireland
They had a son Peter born Liverpool 1845.
They had three more children. Ann born 1851,Jane born 1854 and William born 1858 In Wakefield West Yorkshire
William later moved to the Dewsbury.

Did William ever live at Radley Street Ossett?
If so his son has a WW1 Army record on Ancestry served in 4th KOYLI until 1916.
son also william enlisted as number 1269 in 1910.

No other family details except the ossett address

Thank You for your help, Yes he did live at Radley Street Ossett
His son William was born 1891 and served with the K.O.Y.L.I
Never knew his number only that he worked with the mules on the supply line
Any information on the card, as to why he only served to 1916???

Yes you are one of the lucky ones his record survived only 30% do after the blitz.
He enlisted in Territorials in 1910 and was what is called a Time Expired soldier ie he had served his period of enlistment so by 1916 was free to go home...Strange but true even if a war was going on....one of the pecularities of Territorial soldiering at that time.
You should be able to view record if you can get on to ancestry at a library or you get a subscription

The Larkin family are on the 1861 Census living at Westgate, Wakefield. The surname has been transcribed as Larken
