With a common name like Davies/Davis I can imagine why it would be a bit tricky to find her birth entry. Do you have a copy of the wedding cert?

Yes I do (or rather I have seen a copy in the local records office). I have found what I think is her baptism in Jan 1864  but there is more than one birth reg in the preceding quarter. She is vague with her age as she called herself 20 at marriage when she was really 16 - I think she wanted to appear older than she was but it does make it harder to be certain exactly when she was born. I'm not too concerned about finding her birth cert as my mother in law only really wants me to concentrate on Hannah and Edward's children - she doesn't need to take the Davies tree further back at this point - but I may persuade her to change her mind to satisfy my curiosity .  :)

Thank for the interest in this

I have searched deaths at sea and there doesn't seem to be anything for Hannah so logically her death is somewhere in Pennsylvania but where?!  ??? I will send one of the Cambria website co-ordinators an e-mail to ask for help as the next step.

I am trying to research this family, Sarah is my husbands grandmother and though I have found the family in Pennsylvania I cannot find much at all on Sarah, I would love to go further back and wonder if you would share info as I believe we are related by marriage into this family
