Hello Elinor
You might be better served to get this moved to the Scotland boards.  I'll suggest it to the mods for you.

No worries.  It takes a while to work out what everything is.
Welcome, anyway, you'll find everyone very helpful.
I think this 'Graveyards & gravestones' might be more for photos etc.

Go to the Libindx site which gives information about people in the modern Moray Council area. Do a people search for Alexander there and you will find where he was buried. It will probably be Keith.

Graham.

Be aware that not all the Keith burials have as yet been indexed on LIBINDX. There are six books of burials for Broomhill Cemetery and one or two for the old cemetery, and the volunteer indexer is only part way through the second book for Broomhill! If there is a stone or a newspaper death notice, he will be in the index. Otherwise he may not be.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Thank you.
I have found my relative and his wife in her father's lair at the Old Cemetry so feel quite fortunate.

Just have to find the rest of the family now.
