I have a picture of me taken with my Mum and Dad at a wedding in the Ness Bank Church, Inverness sometime in the late 50s early 60s - on the back is written:

At the wedding of Marjorie Stoddart.

I have childhood memories of going to visit people at either Whitebridge, Errogie or Farr and wonder if these people were part of the Stoddart family.

I also remember a family named Kennedy, who I think may have been connected - one of the Kennedys, a girl, used to play the piano accordian.
Researching the names Mckenzie / Mackenzie from Ross and Cromarty especially Scoraig and Rherivach.

The names Fraser, MacGillivary and Grant from Daviot & Dunlichity.

The name of Fraser from Lanarkshire.

The name of Bell from Northumberland.

The name Chilla / Chylla / Chyla from Poland.

Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this posting. Mary Kennedy is one of my Glengarry Kennedy family. One of their daughters was Mrs Matheson, Lilac Cottage, Fort Augustus - tragic house fire 1940 - three youngsters killed. Another daughter married Roderick Kennedy, Inverness - they lived in "Culzean", Telford Street, Inverness - the family had a butchers shop in Inverness and one of the sons was Canon Alistair Kennedy died about 1975.
Connected to the Kennedy and MacDonell families of Stratherrick and the MacDonald family of Achnaconeran, Glenmoriston. Many relatives around Fort William area.
