Hi There,

This might sound super random, i was researching my great grandfather Robert Dundonald McArthur (1900?) and this came up. Not too sure if this is the same ancestry, i am from New Zealand?

Welcome to Rootschat

It came up because he is mentioned here as a child of Mary McPhail and Charles McArthur. He was born NZ.

Hi b.low19
I am the person who opened this thread about Charles McArthur, who is related to my late mother-in-law.  I am happy to share what information I have of the Scottish side of the family. I hope you can hold on till the weekend as the next couple of days are a bit hectic and it will take time to look out the information.  If you acknowledge this response we can then contact one another by direct e-mail.  All the best from a not so summery Scotland.  isk

Hi
Mary McPhail was my great-aunt and Charles McArthur was my second cousin twice removed. I have compiled quite a lot of the McPhail and McArthur family trees. I'm in Wellington, and would be happy to share information with you.
Regards
Hugh McPhail

Hi Isk and Hugh,

Thank you so much for getting in contact with me. I am building a family tree on myheritage.com so would be much appreciated if i could get the information that you have also, I only really have names and dates at this stage.

I'm new to roots chat so not too sure how to direct message you?

Cheers
Becs
