Newspaper from December 1887
« on: Friday 17 June 11 19:43 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

More Pattison family members (for those of you following my pages on here)!

The following newspaper article appeared in the Northen Echo, a newspaper based in Darlington, County Durham.  The article appeared in the newspaper on 15th December 1887.

The court case had a witness who had the somewhat unusal name of Isaac Pattison.  This name appears several times in my family tree, and I am trying to see if the person in the article is a relation of mine.  Or if he is not a relation at all.

Can someone make a suggestion as to which Isaac Pattison this may belong too?

Thanks,

Peter

Just a nudge - could we find this chap in the census?  I'm confident I know which one this is but just wanting a second opinion.

Thank you

I'd guess that it was the one residing at 36 Stockton Street Middlesbrough on the 1891 census

He was born c 1865, but on the census most of his siblings were born in Redcar. He may have been living in Redcar at the time of this incident.

Any help?
