Hi Lodger

Yes I know that Anc member which is why I said we thought he may be connected to the Elizabeth Frater that married Thomas Main.

Best Regards
Alan

Can you let me have a copy of the gravestone for Morton/Gardiner please.  That would be wonderful.

Many thanks

Difficult to read this one but the details (not an exact transcription) are -

"1842 Gavin Morton died 1858 aged 62 years. His wife Janet Gardiner died December 1843 aged 45 years. Their sons William, Matthew & William died in infancy. Son Robert died February 1880 aged 60 years (His wife Mary Hill died 21st May 1908 aged 86 years). Mary Gibb died 29th July 1890 aged 10 years. (Daughter of John H Gibb & Mary Morton)".

There may be some burial information for this family, let me know if you want to have it.

Hi Lodger,
Are the photos of the Duncan headstone in the Private Burial Ground of the siblings Thomas, Agnes, James, Margaret and Janet?
If so, I would really appreciate a photo.
Thanks very much.

Hi Morag,

I'm in Paris until Saturday, so I'll check the photograph when I get back home.
