To Mosiefish,Althea, Twiggy Tree,Beg Clonrode,my heartfelt thanks for what you all have posted,Ron,s Wife Gillian used the name Deason Foster,now I know why!
In 2001 he was living in Pialba Qld, I had travelled 12000 miles getting there.
My words to him were;- "Thank you for what you did in WW11,if it were not for men like you I would not be a Husband , Father,and Grandfather".
The sound of the Twin Merlin Engines, lingers, as he dived on this village where his bride to be, lived, in 1943-45, signalling that "Ron,s home" I tremble as I write this because you, friends,have helped our NZ/ UK Family to regain some of the unseen information from the past. There is supposed to be an IGI lineage for this NZ family somewhere??
I am grateful to all who offer any facts on my Cousins Family. Will PM.

Of course we don't know what the R stands for and this is after the children are recorded born here, and after the bankruptcy - so perhaps a process of elimination?

Ok here is a leap/assumption.

On familysearch.org there were a couple of Constance BLANDFORD's listed with parents.

So I took this one, http://www.rootschat.com/links/0e0r/ and based upon Constance and William's marriage occurring in 1870 in Auckland, checked the Auckland passenger lists online for a set of parents arriving with a Constance.

This is what I came up with:
