The Scottish 1911 is a pay per view service only - you will have to buy credits to view any entry found on the index search

Hi Delaneoo,

As well as scotlandspeople.gov.uk (which can be very expensive) anybody going to Edinburgh can also do a search in the 1911. Because you only pay for what you print (or save to a USB) this can make searching much cheaper, particularly when you have a common name to look for. I’m not sure when I’ll be there next, probably next week, I can have a look for you then.

If you find the census entry some other way before then just let me know before I go.
