'Bally' means townland so there are thousands of townlands in Ireland that begin with Bally... Perhaps someplace like Ballybeen in County Down? See www.thecore.com/seanruad to find townlands in Ireland.

The one in Dundonald Poor Law Union is on A22 Comber Rd. near Dundoald Cemetery.

Other is west of Comber roughly at the junction of the present A23 Moneyreagh Rd./B178 Hillsborough Rd.

Both townlands show up on GoogleMaps.

Of course there were people living in these places in 1800- Ireland was quite well inhabited by that time. First complete census is 1901 and Griffith's Valuation is mid-1800s, Tithe Applotment lists probably cover 1820s/1830s. Have a look at www.proni.gov.uk to check their e-catalogue and see if they have anything on that particular townland.
