Hi Janet,
Yes James and William had  two uncles and an aunt who  went to Australia I had a previous post on here David Gibson and Helen Flight was one brother and Isabel was his sister another brother William Martin Gibson  died in 1887 in Queenland he was married to 1`. Rosana Mehan then 2. Sarah McLelland or Hamilton he died 1887 she died in 1932.
The death for Thomas James in 1950 I suspect is the son of  James and Mary Noble who died in 1950 maybe a transcribed wrongly.

I have now really trying to find the death of Elsie May Gibson and  Mary Isobel  . Elsie predeceased her a mother according to her her mothers obituary and more information on the brother William died 1921.
 Regards,
Suzilad

I downloaded the image of George Alexander Gibsons death cert a short while ago he was first married to 1. Dulcie Prosser then 2. Alice Maria Watson .
I found a site you had posted on here and tried just for luck  Fawker Cemetery dicovered that both were cremated at the crematorium there George in 1966 , Alice in 1972

Hi Suzilad,

She was hard to find but I found her   :D

http://trove.nla.gov.au
The Argus 19/8/1938

Elsie May Gibson died 16/8/1938
Buried Melbourne General Cemetery

The strange thing is I can't find it on the
BDM records.  I've tried all variations I can think of -
but nothing  :-\
Maybe someone else can spot it, but it's got me baffled

Hope this helps

Hi Raylen,
Thank you so much I have been at the library and found her until 1936 on the census in Australia couldn't find a death
marriage etc. so I am at the moment ploughing through trove halfway through 1937 .
Best way to pass a very wet afternoon in Scotland.

Thank you very much once again.
Away to look for the Shatfords now.
Regards,
Suzilad

Hi Susilad,

Further to Raylen's (Reply 14) -

The "details" on the Index indicate that Elsie possibly died in Sunbury Hospital/Asylum.
