Joseph Atkinson & Tamar Sergison are my husband's 3x great grandparents.
They had a daughter Tamar b.1800 at Crosthwaite + other children
I believe that possibly this Tamar married John Youdale as I said at Carlisle on 9 Sep 1827.
I have never been able to find any other info about this couple
Did Tamar die & John remarry?
Did John die and Tamar remarry ?
I have not been able to find any deaths or any poss candidates in the census.
Did they have any children ?
Youdale has many alternative spellings. I have had other family members called Tamar and they have been mistranscribed as Jane and as Thomas !
The search goes on.

Just registered with this site so i can message you.  Dave Taxi is one of my brothers, one of two who like me were adopted.  I was the eldest of Agnes Youdell's children (10 in total) and am 65 years old.  I spent many years tracing all the lost siblings, putting us all in touch with each other and discovering my mother Agnes and grandparents William and Mary. I have seen Hollow Mire and met a cousin some years ago who was the last to live there. Now I would like to delve further back into ancestors.  You mentioned in your post to Dave Taxi that you had a family tree.  I wonder if I could have a copy?  I don't know my way around this site yet so don't know if this is a private message or not.  Not that it matters anyway.  Only Googled 'Agnes Youdell' 10 minutes ago! Agnes youdell was my great aunt my father's auntie we still have family at eskdale and surrounding areas
