Hi there.  I too am looking for Rudolph Kretschmar.   I am the granddaughter of his illegitimate child Keith.  I am wondering if he went back to Germany?

Cheers
Karen

Hi there!  I also found out what happened.  Hopefully itís the same as you!  He went to Australia in 1906 and died in Sydney, NSW in 1921.  His name was different which made the search difficult.   Iíve attached a copy of the record I found online and the picture of the headstone which a lovely person sent me from Billiongraves.

Cheers Karen (he was my gg grandfather)
