Am a descendent of Mary Ellen Gowler (nee Mayhew) - she was my great-grandmother. Would like to know more about the Mayhew family from anyone who knows details about the Mayhews of Wissett/Cratfield.

william mayhew who was the son of george mayhew and mary ann mayhew
nee farr .george william i believe came out victoria .aust.with his mother, mary ann mayhew <nee farr> george william was the brother of my ggg
grandfather thos. fred. mayhew whocame out to n.s.w.in the early 1840s
george. william was married to mary younghusband and died in victuria
23/5/1864 george .williams father was born in wissett 4/3/1786 and was bapt. 12/3/1786 in st.andrews wissett .i spent 2 days in wissett in 1999 and had a good look arround this village and its surrounds george williams dad ,and mary anns spouse had died in london about 1852.i have the tree going back to ggggggg father robert so if ican help let me know.r.f.mayhew

offord mayhew .m.asinath levinia, asinath levinia mayhew .c. 5/8/1866 at cratfield. A child born to Rebeca mayhew was john .c. john 30/10/1736 at cratfield. Robert Mayhew/Rachel, had a child ,c.20/3/1653. at cratfield

enfield oak , robert mayhew .bapt.6.10.1782 st.andrews. church,wissett. died.
16.2.1835 .at wissett, he maried mary spurling born, 13.9.1810.at burston. robert was the brother of my great by 4 grandfather george mayhew.robert and
mary had 3 chidren that i am aware of 1.robert mayhew born 1812 ,wissett .m.
elizabeth emmett .born. 1824, bengeo ,hertfordshire.3.2.1850, wormly ,herts.
2.thos. edgar mayhew . born ,1814 .and bapt.2.10.1814,wissett.M.sarah ann
tunnell,16.12.1835.they had a child sarah jane mayhew .C.14.6.1850.huntingfield.3rd child of robert and mary spurling was mary mayhew .B.1818. I have alot more info. on this family and am happy to
pass it onto you .
