Alfred Luckman / Dora Kingstone, Birmingham
« on: Sunday 17 July 11 10:25 BST (UK) »
Hi there,
Just a quick message wondering if anyone can help with any info on Alfred Luckman and his wife Dora Kingstone
Alfred was born in 1899, son of Alfred and Fanny Luckman of 4 Victoria Terrace,
Clark Street, Birmingham.
Alfred married Dora Maud Kingstone in 1924, and they had two children Ernest and Margaret.
Alfred died in 1958, and Maud in 1981...
Ring any bells with anyone ?

Any help much appreciated :) :) :)

Dora and Alfred were my grandparents. What is your connection?   Ernest was their son - named after Dora's brother who died on the Somme in 1917. Are we related?

Do you know how many brothers and sisters Alfred had and what his relationship was to Bill and Lottie who moved to Saskatchewan in Canada? By the way one of my Luckman cousins married a full blood Maori. Cousins (even distant ones) are treated in the same way as brothers and sisters in NZ - so, nice to hear from you! Bro!!!
