I am going to try and get a marriage certificate for Catherine and Andrew Burnett, married in Limavady.
I don't know what the contents of a marriage certificate contained in 1870. Would anybody know if it
gives the names of the Bride's parents and Grooms parents.
I need these to complete my family tree.

Fathers' names are James Harbinson and Robert Burnett.

Thank you so very much for that information.
That is a great help.
The Robert Burnett who is mentioned in an earlier post
who had some land I believe -in 1857, must -think be the same Robert
who attended the wedding.
This is great.
Thank you once again.

Hi,
I think that it was James Harbison who held the land in 1858. As already mentioned, he had a daughter  called Catherine.

Oh!
But in an earlier posting on 19th July 2011 it mentions a Robert Burnett 1857 held a 43 acre farm in Drung Donegal.
Then on sat 20th Dec 2014 posting, it mentions a James Harbison who had a large farm in Drumramer near Limavady.
Did they both have these farms?
These two ancestors I'm now sure are both my great great Grandfathers.
Apparently Griffiths valuations of the time listed them both as having land.
Would you know how I can find out?

Hi
I have found Griffiths valuations.
And I have located Robert Burnett from Drung Donegal who had land 43 acres.
Also James Harbison also who also 62 acres in Derry.
Thank you very much for your help in finding this out for me.

Would anybody know where I can find property ownership/tenancy after Griffiths valuation
1860. I am looking from 1911 up to 1956.
Thank you.

PRONI has scanned images of Valuation Revision Books that run from the printed version of Griffith's until c1930 but only for Northern Ireland counties. For other Irish counties try National Archives catalogue.
