Hi.
I can't see any Margaret Davies on my family tree for that period of time.
However, I have discovered that the Davies surname only came into effect after a Llewelyn Davies (1814) took his father's first name David Llewelyn (Bwlch y Clawdd farm Llangeler, born 1784) as his surname, as was the custom at the time.
Therefore, you may be looking for a David......  as Margaret's father?
I hope this makes sense.
I also contacted the owners of Alltygolau farm (they have a website, google Alltygolau)who provided me with some information and may be of help.

Have you searched for Jenkins wills at Llanllwni on the National Libray of Wales index of pre-1858 Wills?

There is an 1832 Bond of Thomas Jenkins, Henfaesganol, Llanllwni, Carmarthen, Farmer:
http://hdl.handle.net/10107/501375

as well as other documents for

John Jenkins Will of 1814, Henfasganol, Llanllwni, Carmarthen, Gent
http://hdl.handle.net/10107/280854

Mary Jenkins Will of 1823, Henfas, Llanllwni, Carmarthen, Widow
http://hdl.handle.net/10107/24400

David Jenkins bond of 1796, Llanllwni, Carmarthen, Farmer
http://hdl.handle.net/10107/756941

It would also be worth looking at Wills from Llanegwad to see if there is a connection with the Jenkins or Davies families:

Margaret and David were at Henfaes on the 1841 Census

Margaret Jenkins age 60 Farmer
David Jenkins age 25 Son

plus 2 male servants and 2 female servants

All born in County

In 1841 the correct age was to be written for everyone under 15 years of age. For those age 15 and over, the age was to be rounded down to the nearest multiple of 5
