Blimey thank you so much derrylass you found my Elizabeth, she is down as Eliza 1863 its defiantly them i am sooooo grateful for this :)

Thank you all so much for the help.

Gary

how would i get one of the Irish birth certs do i need to go over to ireland to get a copy ?

Once you have the full references you can use these to order research certs fro the GRO in Roscommon. To find the details search the BMD Index on Familysearch - see link  You can identify the correct records by searching for the name and year, and then checking for a matching page reference number from the extracted details mentioned in aghadowey's post.

Note Eliza's birth is before the start of civil records, so there will be no birth cert for her.

e.g. Search for Thomas and you will see this record :

   Name: Thomas Deasley
   Registration district: Strabane
   Event type: Birth
   Year:   1865
   Volume : 12
   Page: 363

These are the details you need to order the cert.

see :

  Ordering Certs from GRO Roscommon
Details included on a Birth Cert

Always looking for more information on connections to our Daisley family. My great grandmother was Margaret Daisley who married Samuel Graham and then immigrated to Philadelphia PA.  Their families lived in Ireland and Scotland. Any connection?

There are several Margaret's. I can't find anything beyond My great-great grandmothers maiden name being Coulter and then married and had many children, another being Margaret, my great grandmother who was born between 1864-1867 in Ireland. I found some of the Daisley's remained in Donegal, Ireland into the early 1900's and possibly beyond. However, I have  letters that were sent to ancestors from other Daisley's who were in Bridgeton, Scotland. Does this help? :)

I don't know much about my Daisleys because of the Irish records :( I do know Elizabeths dads name and his parents minus his mothers maiden name. I haven't come across any of his siblings yet but im sure there must of been more of them that came over. Mines are from Donegal too. Email me and we can see if there is any connections. Oh Bridgeton! I go by there everytime I go to Glasgow on the bus :D my friend stays there haha
