Michael Caulfield - b. circa 1928

Hi There, i am researching my friends family and he has given me the following information, it's not much but it should be enough, could some please find his date of birth at least  :) :) :) :) :) :):

Michael Caulfield - not sure if he had a middle name.
b. circa 1928 - roughly around that date - Longford, Ballymahon, Ireland
m. no date - Longford, Ballymahon, Ireland ?
d. aged 85 - around that time - circa 2003/04 ???Ireland

are you sure about your dates ?

If Michael dies in 2003 aged 84, then he would have been born about 1918..

I would start with a search for the marriage to establish details of this Michaels' father and work from there.

Do you know who he married ? 
Presumably the friend you mentioned is a descendent..

sorry about that, we have now confirmed that he was born in 1912. Longford, Ireland.

Ballymahon is in the registration district of the same name. There's no Michael Caulfield birth's listed on the BMD Index in Ballymahon district in 1912 - this is the closest match :

  Name: Michael Caulfield
  Registration district: Ballymahon
  Event type: Birth
  Quarter and year: Apr - Jun 1916
  Volume:   3 / Page :   25

I would start the search with the marriage cert though, to confirm his father's name and occupation first..

Is this all from FreeBMD?

could we possibly find the death date of Michael Caulfield. Michael Caulfield might of served in WWII as he was aged 25.
