Thanks a bunch Ev

I did notice the Will on SP (2 parts to it).  but before i spend up large only to possibly find its the wrong James Watt... I was hoping someone may be able to look localy and confirm the Deaths..

Iv already spend a fortune opening the wrong 5 James Watt's on scotlands People.
But Your brilliant !  and correct !!!    if I had aligned the date of the will with his death record 1887 i would have got the corrct one straight away..  Thanks a bunch.. my quest continues a little deeper ..obviosly the OPR's are way harder to track back through

Hello, jsshelt. The best thing to do is add a few more posts to this. When you have made three posts you can send a personal message to the person you want to contact and let them have your e-mail that way. It is more secure.

Graham.

i note that Pennan is not that far away from Gamrie or Macduff

The town of Macduff is in the parish of Gamrie. Pennan is just over the county boundary, in the parish of Aberdour in the County of Aberdeen.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
