Also says the Hessle road area of is an urban location less tha two miles from Hull City Centre, Hessle road covers parts of Newington and St Andrews

There's a really good forum on Facebook called Hull: The Good Old Days  .... they've helped me with lots of things for Hull ... pop your question down and they'll be able to help I'm sure.

Running off Hessle Road were Neptune Street, Gilbert Street and Ropery Street -in that order.

You may need to use the zoom facility to create the 1910 street map. You can just make out Gilbert Street.

It's not marked on this 1911 map - but off Hessle Road and between Neptune and Ropery you can see a short stretch leading nowhere (there's a line across at the end).  This is/was Gilbert Street.

The first link is only delivering the search screen.

Put Kingston upon Hull in "Town Name" and click on search". Select 1910 map. You you'll need to scroll to the right area of Hull (south and slightly west).
