Thanks a million.  Yes I would say pretty certain they are our Rings my ggg grandfather Patrick Ring born 1812 had brothers I think his Uncle was John and born some time in 1700s.  Have some work to do on those two lines.  Guessing these are relatives somewhere along the line.  Definitely worth contacting PP and making a trip out there.

I have found the Ring grave plot, two limestone headstones surrounded by one limestone kerb.
The plot is near the left hand corner, towards the Priest's house.

Erected by M Ring in loving memory of his father John Ring Ballyreddin who died 9 April 1884 aged 70. Also his sister Anastatia died 17 March 1882 aged 23 years. Also his brother Michael died 20 Nov 1880 aged 2 years. The above Martin Ring died 13 July 1920. Also his son John Ring died 3 June 1928 and his wife Margaret Ring died 7 June 1941  R I P

The second headstone proved more difficult to read The year 1855 might be 1833

Erected by Patrick Ring of Ballyreddin in memory of his son John who departd this life 27 May 1855
aged 28 years
Friends draw near and wipe off your tears for there I live until Christ appears
When he appears it is then I will rise and lead a life that never dies

Thomas Ring died  1 Nov 1924
Jack Ring died 4 Jan 1940
Jim Ring died 6 Jun 1962
