Hi J,

Yes John was born 9 Oct 1906, I am not sure when Denis died, but i do know he died before 1926, he may have died in Scotland.

John and Agnes married in Govan, Scotland i do have thier marriage cert if you would like this..

I haven't had the Mannion file open for a long time, as i have taken a break from FH through illness for the past year

Jeepers, distant cousins are like buses. You wait ages for one and then 2 turn up at the same time   :)

Hello, sorry to butt in but I have a baptism for a Hamill Dysart Taylor at Bushmills 8.12.1846 with parents James and Mary Taylor. My g.grandfather named a son James Hamil Dysart Taylor in Aust. in 1876.
Do these names ring any bells with anyone ?  I have been unable to find any connections that might explain the name.

Hi I have just found this site and thread. My g grandad was Denis Hamill who married Margaret Keenan. Margaret moved to Glasgow after Denis died with her children including my granny Elizabeth.  J G Devlin was a cousin.
