Vose, John, Byker

Hello,

I am looking for descendants of John Vose, born 1907 or 08, who lived in Byker with his his father John (born 1877) and wife Ellen and siblings Annie and Thomas. His grandfather John Vose, born in St Helen's in 1856, owned a confectionery business in the Ouseburn area and sold it to Maynards, probably the same site where they built the Toffee Factory.

Hi there

The John Vose b. 1857 who set up the confectionery business, later selling it to Maynards, was my great grandfather. I've only just started looking at that branch of my family tree, but have managed to trace some of it back a few generations.
