Hi Sandra,
Thanks for all your help.  Yes this is the family the only two that went to America were Mary and Annie.  Annie married O'Halloran i finally got her as her marriage was in Delaware in 1918.

I did find Annie going into Philadelphia in 1908 and it listed her from Draperstown.

Thanks for all your help as always

Kieran

So not connected to the Gardiner's on this thread.  :-\ You need to give as much info as you can to help the searches.  Have we not looked for her previously ?

When is your last sighting of Mary in Ireland ? Was she this one from Drumderg  ?

Did other members of the family immigrate to the USA ?

Perhaps she married - After 1907, marriage determined a woman's nationality status completely.

Hi Sandra,
Thanks again for all your help this is not the right Mary McKernan as she was Gallagher which does tie in with my family.
I am talking about Mary McKernan born may 1877 to Patrick McKernan and Anne O'Neill

Thanks for all your help

Kieran

Hi Sandra,
I just have found out that when you are searching the records for a nun instead of putting the persons christian name in you put "SISTER"

This looks as it could be her but how can I prove it?

Thanks for all your help Mary will be found yet.
