Hi Archie

I think what you must be doing is using the Hugh Wallis site and clicking on the batch finder in the usual way. Now the site has been changed, it doesn't work that way. What you have to do is to copy the batch number and paste it into the Batch number box on the old style IGI page:

http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/frameset_search.asp?PAGE=igi/search_IGI.asp&clear_form=true

There are some  threads on the problem:

Hi gnu,

thanks for the information, I contacted my Internet provider this evening and he stated that they could be doing repair work on the site, I still prefer the one I am used to.

Cheers.

Hi Folks,

thought you might want to see this below it is the reply I got from the I.G.I. Site regarding the batch numbers not working.

Cheers.

Archie.

Thank you for contacting family search.org with your question regarding batch numbers not working.

We apologize. this is a known issue. For some reason, the batch number program is not working on any of our sites.

The engineers think they know the reason, and are working to correct the problem.

We hope this problem will be resolved soon. Please keep checking.

Sincerely,

Family Search Support
