Emerson Family in England

I am looking for any information regarding Eric Emerson born about 1902 in England. Unfortunately I do not know where in England. He emigrated to Canada ?? where he married Margaret Kidd in Ontario. Eric died in Shelburne, Ontario, Canada in 1995. In Eric's obituary he mentions his siblings which might help in finding him in England. He mentions a Ruby, Cora and Freda all of Bornmouth, England. He also mentions other siblings which are Claude, Clarence, Chrissie and Constance. I am estimating that all these children were born in the late 1890s through 1915. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If the 1902 year of birth is accurate, there is only one possibility in the birth indexes (you can search this free at FReeBMD)

you can send for the birth cert from www.gro.gov.uk using the ref I have given.
But you may like to hunt around for the siblings first to see if this is likely. THere are other Eric Emerson births in other years.
Sheffield is a long way from Bournemouth!

They look as though they were born in Yeovil reg district as Cora is born there and later marries in Bournemouth

Added - yes Rosie is right, there are 5 born between 1904 and 1915 in Yeovil, so looks like tghe family were living there then.

You would do well to look at 1911 for them

I am not convinced about the Clarence I found earlier.
In 1901 he is with his grandfather, William Austin, in Oddington Gloucestershire
