Any ideas on parents? The death cert from Scotland says her mother was "Mary Plunkett", maiden name McClusky.  Can't read the name of the father.

It seems her mother's name may have been Susannah McClusky (transcribed as McClossky on FreeBMD

A tree on a*****y may be worth checking out - it seems the family may have been complicated -Mary Ellen  had half siblings named Rooney

I have not found a marriage for Patrick and Susannah

A tree on A******y has Patrick living in Baltimore Maryland USA in 1880 (described as married)

Susannah according to tree died in Scotland 1907

It also states Patrick Rooney was married to Susannah Morris Plunkett Rooney nee McCloskey???

Thanks. I think I have all the info on Mary and her mother Susannah. The death cert for Susannah shows she was married four times but I can only find a marriage cert for the first. I think they just lived together. Maybe issues due to being Catholic?
