I'm confused about the two entries for Thomas. There is one record which has an unnamed Hordle bapt on 24 Aug 1808 in rather untidy writing. The other entry for 24 Aug is in a pre-printed book (maybe BT?) The date and surname are in one handwriting and child's name and names of parents are in another handwriting as if added later. I suspect the entry has been copied from the untidy one and it has been confused with the Thomas baptised in June. Could this be the missing John baptised late (4 years old?) and name and parents not recorded at the time. If he was born in 1804, he would fit nicely between Mary (1802) and the genuine Thomas. Thomas and Elizabeth seem to be the only Hurdles baptising children at West Street Independent at this time.
Elizabeth Hurdle married George Hooper on 27 Nov 1800 at LSM (grooms parish Holy Trinity). Witnesses: John Sprackling, Thomas Hurdle. (Is she Betty bapt 1776?, witness could be brother or father)
Ann Hurdle married George Best on 02 Oct 1809 at LSM Groom's status sojourner Witnesses: Henry Best, Sarah Hurdle.
Richard Hurdle married Dorothy Shepard on 02 Oct 1809 at LSM Witnesses: Sarah Frampton, Sarah Hurdle.

Thomas Hurdle buried 1 Mar 1820 age 11 LSM (this would be the one born 1808)
William Hordle married Agnes Whiteron Turner on 25 Dec 1820 Groom's parish LSM Bride's parish Holy Trinity Witnesses George & Sarah Hordle, Ann Davy and Moses Standley.
Children of William and Agnes
John bapt 25 Dec 1821 occupation shoemaker
George Hurdle married Eliza Payne on 26 Dec 1825 at LSM Witnesses: William Payne and John Hordle
Where has this George come from? George (1794) is on census with wife Mary, unless that is a different Mary from the one he married in 1818, and he married Eliza Payne in between. But cannot find any burials for first Mary and Eliza, so I think this must be a different George.
