I wonder if anyone can help I would like to find out where Thomas Hilditch was born?
I know that in 1871 Thomas Hilditch [61 years born in 1810] profession: wheel Wright census ,52 Groesffordd Caerwys. Wife Elinor     Hilditch [51 years               1820]   born in Ruthin

Hi following him back on all census returns he always gives derivatives of Llandymog Denbighshire, so this looks to be him with parents in 1841 Census:-

PS the 1871 census you have is it RG10/5636/34/10 in Groesfford, Caerwys? if so he is b c 1820?
