As you can see I have tried everywhere but to no avail, its as if they have dissappeared of the face of the earth, its very annoying as the Benjamin and Annie are  my gr grandparents but I can find nothing on his birth or his parents

It would appear that Benjamin was a mariner so will not necessarily appear on a census.  His father was born St Vincent and there is no proof that either of his parents ever lived in Scotland

Perhaps Benjamin met Annie when his ship docked - he seems to have made several voyages from Scotland

That is what I thought, but the family says that they came from Scotland to begin with, I thought if I could find a Wotherspoon that was doing the family tree, they might have to answer

Does anyone know of Wotherspoons from Kilbirnie or Ardrossan
