You need to give more info - birthyear/parents etc

What census info do you already have

It's not clear exactly what it is you want?  Are you looking for living descendants?

Sorry I am interested in the father Alfred Alexander and his ancestors and other living relatives of people other than Jonathan who was my grandfather, but I don't want to ask for too much info in one go.

Details of possible living persons cannot be posted here - see

http://www.rootschat.com/help/posting_guide.php

You will have to use freebmd etc to find marriages for his children

From your other posts - you appear to have access to censuses so have you looked for Alfred on the 1891/1901 census and then traced his ancestry back from there

What I have managed to find so far using the census via ancestry in the library is the following

JONATHAN STONE (ALFRED'S FATHER) b c1847
ROSEHANNAH STONE (ALFRED'S MOTHER) b c1847

JOHN STONE (JONATHAN'S FATHER) b c1811

ROBERT STONE (JOHN'S FATHER) b c 1771

That is about as far as I have got and I seem to have come to a dead end, unless I am looking in the wrong places.

If you are looking in Staffordshire then yes - it's the wrong place

Jonathan Stone was born in Derbyshire as was his father - per 1871 census
