Dear Doric,
I have some exciting news for you. I purchased a copy of 'The County Durham Advertiser Friday May 7 1915'.
I have been tracking down family members of soldiers in it. Your ancestor Private A. Schellenberg sent a letter to his mother at Nevilles Cross and she sent it to the news paper. It's only 12 lines long but he names a few friends and seeing refugees. He also tries to encourage his mother to give money to the Red Cross to help the refugees.
Send me an message and I will email a picture of it.
Thanks Dean
