Hi

I am trying to trace family which I believe came from Poland. My ancestor was Philip Feliks Jedrzejewski born about 1918, I have found the marriage between him and Annie Murphy in this country (Bolton, Lancashire 1955) but I cannot find his birth certificate so I am assuming he was born in Poland. Can anyone tell me how to locate Polish records?
I know his father was Jan Jedrzejewski (from the marriage certificate) but again cannot find any records on him so assume they are held in Poland. Can anyone help or does anyone recognise these names?

I'm having the exact same problem. My Sisters Father was born in Poland but moved to Australia and died here. I have no idea how to find his birth record in Poland. It's probably harder given the fact that I don't speak Polish.

If I find anything I'll let you know.
