On the 1881 census in Dwelling Llansoar, at census place, Llandegreth, Monmouthshire.
Elizabeth Greenman aged 26, born Thornbury Glou, unm, servant, cook was in the household of John James, JP for Monmouth County.  I have located her marriage in 1896 which took place in Bedwellty district, Monmouthshire.  Can someone please help locate her on the 1891 census?

Thanks in advance
Roy

Many thanks for the details much appreciated; I take the last entry to be the 1881 by her age.  Any chance you could transcribe the 1891 household?
Best regards, Roy

Hi again Roy, the last census I posted, which you did not ask for, is the 1861?, so which/what census for the family do you want?

Hi Keyboard
I must apologise for not replying to your last message but for whatever reason I am finding a number of queries which haven't shown up to say I have a message; that's all I seem to be doing today is sending messages to apologise for tardy replies.

Also I have been unwell and not up to scratch for the past few weeks and only now am I checking out rootschat.  I'm not sure where I am at present with my research of Elizabeth Greenman so at this stage please accept my apologises and thanks for helping out.

Elizabeth Greenman is my direct line ancestor and I am trying to find out about Llansoar, Llandegreth MONMOUTHSHIRE, where she was in the 1881 census as a cook, aged 26. I am also interested in any other information about her around 1881/2. I have her tree so am only looking for the Llandgreth connection.

Hi and welcome to Rootschat, what exactly is it you wish to know about Elizabeth as she was still single aged 35 occ General Servant b?Thornbury, Gloucestershire with a Furlow family at 20, George Street, Pontypool, Monmouthshire in 1891?

As I have only discovered Elizabeth Greenman in the past month I just want to know everything about her! For personal reasons I am interested in where Llandegreth is, it's relation to the Rhonnda Valley, as everything that I thought was true about my grandparents seems to be ashes.
