Can anyone help me with a website to search for my great aunt Elizabeth Mathews in France from 1867 Thank You Lynne

There is no national bmd index in France like freebmd in England.
If you have any idea of where in France she might have ended up, there are regional archives, some of which have put records online.

I see from your other messages she was Australian-born. It would be a good idea to track down death records/obituaries for her siblings (if any) and parents to see if they mention her.

Thank you Jorose for your information I have all records of Elizabeths parents and siblings and the onle mention of her is on her mothers death certificate that she was still alive in 1903 and no mention of where she may be that is providing the informant  on the certificate knew that was right Bye for now Lynne
