I'm searching for information about William Thurman born 1811 in Batley West Riding Yorkshire,
He died in 1880 in Heckmondwike Yorkshire We are wanting to know who his parents and wife were

 Hope someone can help  ???

Hi ok from the 1841 census his wife appears to be an Alice?

William Thurman bp. July 18,  1813 Batley, All Saints. Parents : John and Susannah Thurman, fathers occ: Clothier.

7 May 1837 Batley All Saints after Banns

William Thirman married Alice Hey, both of the Parish

Both left their mark in register.
Witnesses: Joseph Chadwick and N**** Belfrey??  (both signed)

Now it appears his parents were John and Susannah have you looked at the Family Search site which is available for no fee, cannot do that link stuff, so just google it and have fun searching for yourself.

OK, you know it was not John/ Susannah any clues as to.who his parents could be, and why John/Susannah are not?
Also if William and Alice married in 1837, who is the mother of Susey b c 1835?
