Yes! Misty is my wife, I only realised she had posted on here the other day after i said I had had a reply! That and i am not on the computer very often.

Hi Stephen, I've only just realised I didn't answer. My husbands grandmother Vera and your Grandfather were brother and sister. My father in law, Barry, has wonderful memories of your grandparents. Am happy to share any info we have.

I have been remiss not replying also.
I'm afraid I don't have much family history info re Finnies, VERY interested in any and photos.
However, Misty and Paul are very good with ancestry.
I do have some photos and info about Leonard Austin Stanley (and the Stanleys in general) in respect to Boxing. My great Uncle Len ( he was a lot of fun) was Jack's cousin. Indeed, they fought each other at the Sydney Stadium. Many articles on them in Trove as you and Misty probably know.

Hi Stephen.  My great-grandmother, Emily Jane Finnie, was Sidney Finnie's sister, and thefore Jack's aunt.  I'd love to hear from you.  Cheers, Lynne.
