The helpful lists of Murrays contains .7 Andrew Murray a tenant at Ladyhousesteads. Can anyone give me information about Ladyhousesteads. My 2nd great grandfather John Murray was a farmer and horse breeder there. Thank you!

hi sheila this may help a little if you go to www.scotlandsplaces.gov.uk then click on dumfrieshire from the list then go to right hand side enter ladyhousesteads in search box this brings up info there is a large amount of murrys listed there inc john murray only thing is info is locked think you need subscription or perhaps sumone may have free access to help you further there is small map showing ladyhousesteads there as well

just noticed on the site under subscriptions it says from the 4th october 2016 it will be free so not to long to wait
