Siloam Baptist Chapel - Kidwelly
« on: Sunday 23 October 11 17:04 BST (UK) »
Hi

Does anyone know the location of the Burial records for Siloam in Kidwelly. I am looking to find the burial date for Levi and Ann Nicholas. I think it will be in the 1870's.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Many Thanks

David Nicholas

Hello  :)

The Baptist Union of Wales website has a Church Finder facility, which gives contact details. Burial records of many Chapels may be still held in the Chapel itself.

Many Thanks Morgan and Carole for your replies.

I contacted the Treasurer of Siloam and he was not aware of the location of the burial records from this period.

Has anyone come across the location in their research?

I would be grateful for any possible suggestions.

Regards

David

Hello  :)

I just remembered seeing this site which has a transcription of 2 gravestones at Kidwelly, including that of Levi and Ann Nicholas.

http://www.mit.edu/~dfm/genealogy/nicholas.html

Didn't mention it before because I thought that you were the same David Nicholas who provided the photographs.  :D

Kind Regards
Morgan
