Ok, so she may have returned to Thanet for burial (the district council hold records for their own cemeteries)
http://www.thanet.gov.uk/community__living/deaths_funerals__cremations.aspx

Or she may have been buried in Canterbury in which case you need to contact Canterbury District Council http://www.canterbury.gov.uk/main.cfm?objectid=206

Or, if you know where she lived prior to her being in the home or where her main family lived at the time of her death then she may have been buried in that district (again, the local council hold their own records).  Might she have been buried with her husband even?

Casalguidi :)

Alice was the person in charge of the home .She was there in 1953 definately and may have died there in 1954.Her husband William Henry Abbott died in Canterbury in 1958.

William had a brother Albert born 1875( circa) who married Lillian Stevenson(b.1878) in West Ham  around 1899
I cannot find details of them either.

They lived in Dover Priory area and were there in the early 50s.
Many thanks .
