found this  on another site dont know if it helps
I've been doing research on the DUNN family of Dunn's Bank, Quarry Bank,
Netherton and Old Hill. In particular descendents of Solomon DUNN and Mary
Ann PARKES m 1821 Brierley Hill. I have a DUNN family Bible for this
particular branch which goes back to prior to the date of Solomon and Mary
Ann's marriage. Related families in this research, mainly of Quarry Bank,
but later Cradley area, are GREENWAY BLOOMER WHITE GRIFFIN YARDLEY HURLEY
GILES GORTON MARSON and in particular RICHARDS.

A large family of Dunns lived there Cember, I have these notes:-

Daniel Dunn and his brother James born about 1743 were the original occupiers of Dunns Bank, the land was divided amongst their children and grandchildren.  Daniel was a Scythesmith working for a Thomas Raybould circa 1765.

Thanks both of you.
I've been helping my brother-in-law with his family tree, we have only just started on the Dunns so we are only back to 1820 and Job Dunn. Will look and see if there is a connection to the Solomon you mention Absolom

This thread is very old but I am also looking for Dunns of Dunns Bank.

My ancestor is Elijah Dunn who married Ann Westwood in about 1845. His father was William Dunn who married Sarah. I'm not sure of her last name.

I wonder if William is a relation to any of the Dunns you all have mentioned.

Yes that's the one! Thank you. Where did you find all that information? I'm always stuck when it comes to researching the Dunns.
