Hello 19rags19,

Have you found the family on any Canadian Census ? What do you know or would like to know ?

The 1881 census at Library and Archives Canada is searchable by name:
http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/databases/census-1881/index-e.html?PHPSESSID=t83m85o55pb15dvf695ddi4tl7

I would like to find out when John Edward Wilson born 1847 and Ada Rebecca Wilson born 1845 went to Canada. John Dudley Wilson was born in Yorkville Canada in 1875 but they were back in England possible Greenwich, london in 1876 as the next son is born there in 1876.

Hi,
In 1881 the family were in Kingston on Thames, Surrey, where John, 34,  born Luton, Lincolnshire was a Brewers Manager
Ada R, 36, born London, Middlesex;
children were John, 6, b Canada;
Horace J, 3yrs; Ada G, 1yr; both born Kingston.
[Class RG11 piece 835 folio 86, page 53]

I found the following on the familysearch.org
John Edward Wilson, born 4 Oct 1846;
                                          chr 8 Aug 1847, Lutton-Bourne, Lincolnshire
Parents: John Edward Wilson and Eliza
The dates should be accurate as they are taken from the records in the locality.
I haven't yet found Ada's birth as I can't find their marriage.
added later
I have found the birth of a James Horace G Wilson b 1877 Kingston;
In 1891 this same person was at F M D Mertens, Ardingley, Sussex where he was a pupil and aged 13. Class: RG12; Piece: 791; Folio 124; Page 7
In 1891 the family were living in Kensington but you probably have this already. Father John E Wilson was a Chemist.
RG12; Piece: 25; Folio 33; Page 64

John Edward Wilson and Ada Rebecca Marks were married on the 14th June 1871. You can find it under the Quebec [Anglican], Quebec Anglican Cathedral, Holy Trinity Church Quebec. It says John Edward Wilson was a Druggist and from the city of Montreal and Ada Rebecca Marks was from London, Kent, England.
Hope this helps.
